“If you think you can do it, you can. If you believe you can do it, you will. If you trust you can do it, you will make a difference.” – Catherine Ellis
“I discovered I always have choices and sometimes it’s only a choice of attitude.” – Judith M. Knowlton
“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude to me is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the money the education, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than giftedness, appearance or skill. It will make or break a company…., a church…., a home…., a life. The remarkable thing is that we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change the past…., we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is to play on the one string we have, which is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react to it. And so it is with you……… we are in charge of our attitude.” – Charles R. Swindoll
Research reveals that every child is born normal and in no way can it be said that a child is having a negative or positive attitude by birth. This concludes that attitudes are built by the impact of the surroundings and immediate situations we face in life than by birth.
With this I can confidently say that attitude is a product of mental activity (Mind). What we allow into our conscious mind most of the time gets stored in our sub-conscious mind. It then becomes our attitude as it transcends into our super-conscious mind. Simply put, you are what you think about most of the time. You have a choice as to what attitude to embrace in your life, by simply becoming conscious of your environment and controlling your thoughts.
Brian Tracy explains in the law of substitution that, the human mind can contain and process one thought at a time, and the individual gets to choose what that thought has to be.
What attitude do you want to change in your life? What attitude do you desire? Is it the attitude that says I can do it? Is it the attitude that says I won’t give up? Is it the attitude that sees only the positive side of things? Is it the attitude that says “arise my soul, be strong and match me forward?”
The choice is yours to make. If you can dream it, you can definitely live it. Your success depends on your attitude. Fiifi N. Cromwell
