How you are abusing the power in you

Posted on Updated on

If you had the power to do great things, what will you have yourself do…….
Will you sit and gloat because you have the power?
Will you do things to please just yourself, without considering others?
Your surest answer to the above questions is a big No. You never want to be tagged with any of these negative attitudes. That is a good thing so long as you stay clear off them.
However, your mouth speaks one thing and your actions show another. Whatever happened to ‘walking your talk’.

You are powerful, both in thought and in action. You are fortified with greatness. Greatness to do powerful things. Powerful things in simple and complex ways.
It is in your DNA to be greatly powerful. You were created with it. Whatever you do or touch has to be great.
If you sing, it has to be great. If you write it has to be great. If you draw, it has to be great…..why? …Because you are powerful.

Now the big question. Why don’t you see these great things manifesting in your life.
The simple truth is that you are abusing the power invested in you.

Power is not only abused if it is used for the wrong reasons, but also if it is not used at all or to full capacity.

If you look down upon yourself, you are abusing the power in you.
If you think you can’t do a thing, you are abusing power.
If you give up trying after a failure, you are abusing power.
If you don’t do anything at all, you are as guilty as a political leader who abuses power.
If you fail to stride confidently in whatever you do, you are a power abuser.
If you fail to show humility, you are abusing power.
Fail to control your temper and you are guilty.
Fail to LOVE UNCONDITIONALLY and you are guilty as well!!

Don’t abuse the power in you. You are great!
